This is me reading the scrapbook that Megan gave me. We decided to give each other sentimental wedding gifts. You will notice there is no picture of Megan's wedding gift. Unfortunately, I did not have it ready. In fact, she didn't get her gift until about 4 months after the wedding. BUT, it was special and I don't think she will ever get something like that again. You'll have to ask her.

I think we got tired of waiting in the lobby, so we decided to wait in the Executive Level Lounge before the limo arrived.

Me telling everyone to get going.

This is us waiting in the lobby area for the limo. I had quite a bit on my mind.

I like this one. Daddyo (Alan) is a good guy.

Colin and James waiting around for the limo

Grammy talkin to Daddyo with Russ listening in. Daddyo could tell I was quite a bit nervous that day, but kept reminding me that "everything would be OK"

I think this was me on the phone with Walker or Ken

My hydrangis flower that Megan picked. She didn't let me do the daffodils I had picked myself.

I'm not nervous at all....nope not one bit.

I don't remember much of this part. But we must have been doing something.

LXA's chillin before the ceremony

Still not nervous at all

Minus the fact that I'm about 20 lbs overweight, I actually like this picture.
I will try and blog when Megan tells me too. But again, not much of a writer.
I am glad 2009 is gone. GOOD RIDDANCE! It seems like my "bad" years always fall on years ending in 9 (Minus OF COURSE the fact that I married Megan! So I guess, the best thing to happen this decade happened in a bad year). 1999 wasn't the best year for me either if I recall. Don't remember much about 1989.
Welcome 2010! I'm ready for a big good year. BIG news coming from the Owen household in February possibly March. A select few of you all ready know what I'm talking about, but are sworn to secrecy. This is good news though! (And no, the news isn't that Megan is pregnant.)
Thanks to my wonderful wife for being there for me during this past year. Megan has been wonderful and such a blessing. Her family (and mine) have been great this year as well!
Sic 'em,
GREG

Good job, Greg! Thank you for blogging :)
Ah Greg, your comments about "not being nervous" remind me of the afternoon just before Mom & I got married. I swore I wasn't nervous. About 10 minutes before the ceremony was to start someone stopped outside the church (we got married on the Wellesley campus) and asked me for directions to a dorm...and I knew where it was. Apparently I kept repeating myself and the directions weren't too good. Finally my cousin said, "he's getting married in a few minutes you might want to ask someone else"...nervous, not one bit :-) but the story has a very happy ending and you've been a part of it.
