Project Runway is FINALLY back!
I have been waiting way too long for the Season 6 premiere of Project Runway. I am so thrilled! It's actually recording right now and I can't wait to start watching it after Greg gets tired of watching the football game.
I am especially thrilled to see my beloved Tim Gunn. He is the old gay uncle I never had. Oh, wait a minute. I actually do have a gay uncle....
Anyway, here are some enjoyable Tim Gunn moments from my favorite Season so far. Yeah for Season 3!!!
I hope that this Season brings some more enjoyable Tim Gunn moments and some cool designers. I'm curious to also see how the editing will be since it is on Lifetime now instead of Bravo. Bravo's style of editing is like.... the same for every exact show so maybe some fresh new editors would be awesome.

Lots of STUFF
So, after you get married, you have a lot of stuff. You have your stuff, your spouse's stuff, and all of the insane amount of wedding presents (things that you registered for). Greg and I are moving on Saturday to our new place and I am really trying to figure out what to do. Luckily, Greg has a storage unit where he has been keeping some of his things. We also have a lot of wedding presents and other random crap at my mom's house that I need to go sort through.
Now, the goal is: assess what should go where. What things of mine/Greg's/stuff mom's house should go to the new apartment and what should go in storage? This is going to be some ordeal. I really hope that we don't get into any arguments over what stays and what goes into storage. We're going to try as hard as we can to make it our apartment with as equal amounts of stuff as possible. And we're going to do some fresh redecorating - painting some accent walls and slipcovering my couch and his love seat to match. I'll try and make it look as "grown up" as possible. But that's the easy part. The hard part is getting all that dang STUFF assessed and in the apartment!
Bottom line - I'm really glad we have a storage unit. It would be a little pointless to donate or sell some of the furniture we don't need now. We're bound to need it when we get a bigger place and/or buy a house.

First Post!

Hello everyone!
I have decided to start blogging about our adventures as newlyweds. I sort of have a bad memory, and a blog is a great way for me to share things going on in our lives and also a great place for me to go back and read about fun times.
So, as my first post, I'd like to use this as an introductory type of thing.....
Her are some quick bits about Meg & Greg!
We got married on July 25, 2009. Just about two weeks ago, already! We are currently living in Webster, TX and are moving to a brand new apartment on August 15. We are signing a year lease and taking that time to look for a house. We're lucky because my parents are realtors and can help. We were looking for houses before the wedding, but it was just too much to handle with all of the wedding and honeymoon expenses. I am a high school theatre teacher at Clear Lake High School. I'm going into my third year of teaching there. Greg is an Agent with New York Life. He just started working with them recently. We currently do not have any pets, but are both cat people. I forsee a kitten joining the family in the near future...
Our wedding and honeymooon were amazing. Just about the most perfect past two weeks I think I've ever had! I'll have more posts about the wedding and the honeymoon soon, but in the meantime, hello blog land! I hope this is sufficient enough for a first post!
