I lit-er-all-y just found out it is National Cupcake Day today!
How in the world did I not know this?!?!?!
Seeing as how I have picky tastes and will not settle for just any cupcake, I am not sure that I will actually get to eat one (or more) today. So, in lieu of that, I'm going to post pictures of pretty cupcakes and assume that they taste just as good.

Vanilla plain simple and delicious. Funny story my brother would only eat cupcakes HATED cake... even though it's kind of the same. My grandmother always had cupcakes made for him, plain vanilla, plain white icing, moist and delicious.
I'm marking my calendar for next year! :D
omgosh I can't believe I missed this holiday!!!!! Must celebrate belatedly tonight. Lots of celebration.... yum.

That chocolate thing with the M7Ms on top looks pretty good. I missed it too though, no worries. Well, it's not so much I missed it, as much as I was too lazy to go get one. i chose to work on my blog post of the peppermint hot chocolate cupcakes i made this weekend.

Apparently, my hubby's bday is on National Cupcake Day. That's pretty exciting.
YUM! This is too awesome not to celebrate. I think a belated celebration is in order.
Oh WOW. Is there anything better than cupcakes? I am very interested in your favourites... not tried chai or key lime before. They sound amazing! I love simple vanilla with buttercream icing, or chocolate and strawberry. Although I tried a carrot cupcake recently with cream cheese icing and that was really very nice! :) Lovely blog xx
