Come Home Mr. O.

So, the hubs has been out of town on business and will be until Thursday. I don't know what to do with myself. It's apparent I've (along with my beloved Dexter) have become too attached to my dear husband.

Exhibit A:
Dinner last night was Godiva truffles. Evidently I don't know how to make dinner for one person.

Exhibit B:
Shoes have accumulated in a central location that is not the closet. Apparently I'm incapable of cleaning up after myself.

Exhibit C:
I caught Dexter waiting at the door for his daddy. Now, that's just plain sad.

I hope we prove to be less co-dependent these last few days. ;)

Oooh, Poor Dexter! Oh, and poor you ;) But at least you know when hubby is returning, Dexter doesn't :(

Does that mean your hubby normally picks your shoes up and puts them away? Or you're just better behaved when he is home??

Awww Dex is so cute.

This is so the story of my life right now. I eat take-out so much because cooking for one is just plain ol' depressing. The amount of times my dinner has been... a bag of popcorn is just sad.

And I am one messy girl... I surprise myself sometimes. Right now I have shoes in the bathroom?? hahah Shoes are everywhere!

I'm always super excited to have some alone time for about 2 days. And then I get very aimless and eat crap for dinner and don't wash dishes for days and it's all too much.

Mmm...godiva truffles....

And I love those flats in the middle...the darker colored pair. Very cute.

And poor Dexter. My dog waits like that by the door when one of us is not home. It is pretty sad. But cute.

You can come to my house and I will make you a better dinner. Or, we can go shop. :)

It seems like the roles are reversed.. normally the men don't know what to do when the women are out of town and eat junk for dinner! ;) I hope Greg is back soon so poor Dex doesn't mope around much longer and you can get some nutrients in your body, haha!

Haha, wait, Godiva chocolates aren't ok for dinner?! I am confused :) I know how you feel though. The hubs and I spend a lot of time together. And even when we are getting on each other nerves, he or I leave for 3 hours and we are lonely. Hope the time passes soon!

Haha! I'd be totally the same way.

The red flats in your shoe pile are adorable!!

And Grayson does that whenever I'm not home.

Haha I have no idea what I do with myself if Kent was gone for that long! I'd probably be eating chocolate for dinner too! Lol! Poor Dexter, that is so sad!!

lol! i hate when the hubby is out of town! of course, i am much more messy than you, but the hubby doesn't have to be out of town for that to happen! i say put on some netflix and invite the girls over for pizza and drinks! :)

Hehe, I totally understand :) Scot's work hours have changed and instead of being able to eat dinner and relax like we used to.. I need to fend for myself every night since he doesn't get home until almost 11pm. It's throwing off my groove, yo!

Aw, Dexter is camped out at that door!

But chocolate dinners? You gotta have one of those every now and then!

I was on travel for work last week, and John bought little miniature bee keepers from a train supply store and did some photography "experiments." They're pretty cute. I'll try to blog the pictures later. We got the idea from a fun photographer in San Francisco.
