I'm off to Charleston, SC for my brother-in-law's college graduation! Congrats, my dear BIL (his name isn't Bil, though-- it's Josh)! I've taken a mental health day from work (now that's what I call a happy Teacher Appreciation Week) and we're off this afternoon!
Charleston is such a beautiful, iconic southern town.
Gorgeous architecture. Such lush trees and flowers. All those painted window shutters with flowers in the windows! We visited back in September of 2009 and it seemed like the only thing I took pictures of was houses, buildings, and plants!

This is totally getting me geared up for summer.

I'm dyinggg to go to Charleston! I never really thought about it until I started reading this blog, http://www.olivia-rae.com/, which I HIGHLY recommend. I do believe she's graduating from the College of Charleston this weekend as well. Have fun!!

I was in Charleston this weekend for C of C graduation too. Your pictures capture the beauty of the city. Saw many lovely ladies in hats at the ceremony, maybe one was you.
