Pumpkin Pie White Hot Chocolate

Since it's officially fall, even though the temps here don't reflect it, Greg has been into fall recipes. You might have seen the recipe for Pumpkin Bread that he made.

I pinned this Pumpkin Pie White Hot Chocolate recipe on Pinterest recently, and Greg found it somewhere else and really wanted to make it.

Yummy right?

It WAS yummy!
And pretty easy to make (well, it looked like it was.... Greg made it.)
All that was missing was some fresh whipped cream on top, but it definitely wasn't a deal breaker.

Greg O.'s Pumpkin Pie Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
3 cups milk (we used Organic fat-free)
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 ounces white chocolate (roughly chopped)
pinch salt

Directions:
1. Heat the milk, pumpkin puree, and spices in a sauce pan until it just starts to simmer and remove form heat.
2. Add the chocolate and stir until it has melted.
3. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon. Makes 4 servings.

I highly recommend everyone try this!

And since this was Pinterest inspired, I'm linking it up for "Oh How Pinteresting Wednesdays!" with one of my blogging BFFs, Michelle!

OMG. Your man should be a chef. Unless, he is a chef... then that is just fitting. Otherwise, his result for the recipe looks just so perfect.

Speaking of hot chocolate, I found that Air Wick has some limited edition "cocoa & flickering fireside" scents for this fall and omg it is to DIE FOR. My apartment smells delicious and just as an FYI you should probably go sniff one of those candles so you can understand what I mean.
