Things You May Not Know About Me

I was my University's Homecoming Queen my senior year of college. Yes, I am royalty.

I can impersonate a seagull. Don't believe me? Here is evidence (from like 5 years ago...)

I had just taken this picture right before I was officially introduced to the man who is now my husband. Yes, I am smoking a cigar. I'm classy. Glad that didn't turn him off.

I played Sally Bowles in the musical Cabaret

This is the most snow I've ever seen in my life.

I'm a bad Texan and don't really listen to country music. My husband is from Massachusetts and he seems to enjoy it more...

I once directed a play with a giant pool of water in the middle of the stage. And yes, the actors used it.

Other Things:
- I'm left handed
- The only food I don't like is mushrooms
- My favorite drink at Starbucks is a Skinny Caramel Macchiato
- I studied abroad one summer in London
- I don't like the feel of unfinished wood (i.e. popsicle sticks)
- I always sing the harmony to songs when jamming in my car
- I am a fantastic swimmer
- I've only lived in Houston and in Corpus Christi

Can you relate to any of these?

Love the post! That is a really good Seagull impression!

My friend Lindsay hates unfinished wood too. She won't use wooden spoons in the kitchen because they gross her out!

Hope you had a great weekend!

well i absoultely relate to the country music thing. even though i grew up in texas, and my parents are still there, i have NEVER liked it. EVER. the people in Ohio love country music, so college didn't offer much relief either. shudder.

btw, you look great with dark hair!!

CupcakesOMG!

You don't listen to country at all?! LOL I'm shocked. I listen to it and we don't even have country music station! We just got one recently actually but the signal doesn't even extend to my house! LOL

Loved learning more about you!!

First, there is so much awesome in this post. Cigars? Ick. But, you look nice haha. Also, how can you not like country music?! Are you a true Texan, or in the witness protection program or something? Must be the latter.

Starbucks twins! All I order is skinny caramel macchiato! Iced in the summer, and warm in the winter :)

With the exception of your choice drink at Starbucks, I think I knew all of that! I also remember being mad because people were smoking at my rehearsal dinner...eh, guess it worked out in the end, right?

love the pool in the stage!
My Sophmore yr of HS, I was working tech on Pirates of Penzance, and bc I am so short, it was my responsibility to make the splash when he falls off the ship in the beginning, using a 5gallon bucket. Well, he came down not where I was expecting him to, and I knocked the whole bucket over during rehearsal... and wouldn't you know all of the colored films for the lights were laying on the stage behind us waiting for lighting rehearsal... it was a mess!!! I have never heard so many expletives come out of my director's mouth... all via headset!!! But, my honey was one of the first ppl out to help me clean it up, which ending up being a great introduction :)

I also dislike mushrooms and popsicle sticks are sooooo gross. I am getting the heebie jeebies thinking about it. I also feel like construction paper falls in this category.
