I love using Google Calendar. Greg and I will put events into our calendars and share them with each other so we both know what is going on with each other at all times. I used to write in a small planner each academic year, and it really helped to keep me organized. I am just very nervous about the upcoming school year. Between school, play rehearsal, Kennedy's mother's day out, doctor's appointments, Greg's schedule, and oh... my social life, I thought it might be a good idea to grab something to keep me on track, alongside my Google Calendar.
I wanted something I could easily throw in my purse / school bag / diaper bag and not take up too much space. When I stumbled upon May Books, I thought it was perfect! I needed something simple. I didn't need stickers or tabs or ziploc bags. I wanted a cute, small planner.

Ain't she purdy? I love how small it is! It's a little bigger than a 5x7". The only thing I don't like about it is that the monthly calendars are all in the front and the weekly planners are in the back. I kind of wished that the weekly planners were behind each month, in chronological order. Perhaps May Books will read this and take that into consideration for next year? Eh?

Love these! I also am not a fan of the planner you're talking about, nor do I like the 3 other very think planners that have great patterns on them... I've been eyeing a may book for weeks, even have it in my cart!, but haven't been able to cough up the money! Thanks for a GREAT giveaway!

My oldest baby starts school this year :'( I'm excited, but also sad. Not sure what I am gonna do - or what his little sister is gonna do without him at home. I'm planning on trying to get involved as a parent with his school and also gonna pack his lunch and try and stay really in touch with everything going on.
i LOVE may books. they really make me happy and keep me organized. the problem is there are too many cute designs and i want them all :)

These planners are great! Love it! I need a small (lightweight) planner I can just throw in my purse and take with me everywhere!
I love these! We use Google Calendar too, but sometimes I forget to add events into it. This would be so handy. I love that I can keep track of everything and keep it in my purse. Their stuff is so freaking cute! I love the grey with trees. So adorable.

Good gravy this is awesome! I am not crafty enough to make my own things, I'd much rather buy them from a crafty person!
Now that I know I'm starting grad school next month, I will definitely need a new planner. But like you, I don't want anything bulky. I just need a place to write in work, social, Tomball farmers market FB announcements to write, and school stuff. :-)

I just ordered 2 May Books earlier this week!! I can't wait for them to come in! :) I have always loved my Erin Condren planner but it is a little big and heavy to carry around all day every day, so the May Books are perfect!

LOVING the anchor pattern! Even though I'm not in school anymore...I LOVE back to school season as a time to get 'reorganized' and spend money on 'school' supplies that I really don't need. Love it :)
