Are you pushing 35 and looking for a new skincare routine to plump and reduce the signs of aging? I’m laying out all the details of my current skincare routine. Skincare for 30s is tough waters to navigate, but I have found some pretty awesome products!
I’m not picky with makeup removing wipes. These get the job done nicely!
e.l.f. Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths
My favorite way to remove makeup. It is less comedogenic (less likely to clog pores) than extra virgin coconut oil. I use this all over my face at night before I get in the shower.
Fractionated Coconut Oil
I like using this to remove lipsticks or any other stubborn spots of makeup that didn’t come off in the shower.
Garnier Micellar Water
My favorite toner of life. I put a little on a cotton pad and wipe all over my face and neck. It picks up whatever gunk I wasn’t able to remove and also gently exfoliates the skin with 5% glycolic acid.
Pixi Glow Tonic
A facial essence is something new I’ve incorporated into my routine, and I can’t say yet if it’s a “must-do” step. This essence I’m using is very pricy, but I do feel like it balances my skin well before applying everything else. I just pour a little in my hands and pat it all around my face.
Fresh Beauty Black Tea & Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence
This is my holy grail skincare item I’ve been using for 6+ years! It is a pure hydration serum. Hyaluronic acid is found in so many high end and luxury products, I just prefer to use it in its purest form. I take a tiny bit and pat it in all over the face while it’s still a little damp from my facial treatment essence.
Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum
If I’m feeling a little dry or like I want some extra hydration, I will use a little of this marula oil around the face. It absorbs nicely. I also love it as a cuticle oil!
Acure Marula Oil
This is such a splurge, but my face just loves it. I don’t think I need this moisturizer forever and ever, but I have loved it. And, like I said in the video… expensive doesn’t necessarily mean better, but if your skin likes it, then don’t quit a good thing. Just don’t expect miracles from heaven.
Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream
I also have this eye cream in rotation and would 100% recommend! It’s great for all skin types and I love the gel-cream consistency. And it’s got hyaluronic acid in it – one of my favorite skincare ingredients!
Cetaphil Hydrating Eye Gel Cream
Vitamin C is a wonderful antioxidant to add into your skincare routine! I have been using this particular one for a while. I like to use my Vitamin C in the morning.
Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Anti-Aging Serum
SPF is an absolute must during the day. Even if your sun exposure is minimal, you really should be wearing SPF every single day. I explain more in the video, but I prefer a physical/mineral SPF in my moisturizer. This one from Image has been my all-time favorite and will continue to repurchase.
Image Skincare Prevention+ Daily Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30+
My favorite sheet masks and I love how affordable they are!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Sheet Mask
I use this to spot treat on pimples. Benzoyl peroxide is super effective and worth using.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Acne Treatment
I like to use this in areas that get more congested (on the chin and nose). If I have a pimple that is extra stubborn, I’ll put a little on it and let it sit overnight. It’s so good!
Glamglow Super Mud Clearing Treatment
This is a very expensive cream, and the jury is still out if it’s a must-have in your life right now. BUT, I think we all should be taking care of the skin on our necks and chests. I do make sure to apply my other products all the way down, and then I will apply this on top. I am going to be looking around a little bit more and see if I can find some other neck creams that are worth trying!
Image Skincare The Max Stem Cell Neck Lift
