If you’re a busy woman like me, you know the importance of nailing down a five-minute makeup routine. It’s important for me to look put together, even if I only have a few minutes! Today I am going to share with you my go-to look when I’m in a hurry. I like to focus on looking fresh, radiant, and awake, and I think that can be accomplished in a short amount of time!

The first and probably most important thing on my list is to take care of my smile. Having a radiant white smile automatically helps you look more awake and put together.

I love Colgate Optic Radiant White as a step in my five minute makeup routine!

I’ve been reaching for the all new Colgate® Optic White® RADIANT™ Toothpaste to help me get that brighter smile. What I love most about this toothpaste is that it safely whitens the inside as well as the outside of my teeth. It contains hydrogen peroxide, which is a dentist recommended whitening ingredient. I don’t have lots of time to whiten my teeth, and I love that I can do it just by brushing. It’s also safe to use daily.

A radiant primer is the first step in my five minute makeup routine

After I’ve taken care of my pearly whites, I go in with a luminous primer. Since we’re going for a radiant look, this is a great base for everything.

I love to use CC cream in my 5 minute makeup routine because it has a lot of coverage and goes on quickly!

After primer, I use a luminous CC cream. Between that and the primer, my skin will look fresh and awake!

A brightening concealer under the eyes makes you look more awake!

I then quickly put a little bit of concealer underneath my eyes – it is a step I absolutely cannot skip! Even if I only have a few minutes, it makes a huge difference in making me look awake!

I always use a light dusting of powder and a bronzer in my 5 minute makeup routine

Next, I lightly dust over a radiant powder, and a tiny bit of bronzer to warm up my complexion.

Using a tinted brow gel helps me get my brows done quickly.

champagne eyeshadow makes eyes look more awake!

To make my eyes look more awake, I then take a champagne colored eyeshadow and pat it on the eyelid with my finger. We don’t have time to mess around with eyeshadow brushes!

mascara is a must in my 5 minute makeup routine

I don’t know about you, but I can’t leave the house without a bit of mascara. Using a lengthening mascara definitely helps eyes look more awake.

lipgloss is easy and flattering!

As a final step, I go in with a flattering and neutral lipgloss. Gloss helps pull together this radiant look and is very quick to apply.

  1. Love it! Which bronzer do you use and do you put it all over or just certain areas?

  2. Wow, great look, and easy! Your concealer really works! I have a hard time finding one that can cover my horrible dark circles under my eyes. Or maybe it is the color I’m messing up.

    1. Thank you so much! Yes… concealer is everything!!!
