My Holy Grail Favorite Lipsticks

Today is National Lipstick Day! Of course, I had to participate in some capacity. I went through my vast lipstick collection and picked out my favorite lipsticks. I focused only on traditional lipsticks, as once I started thinking about liquid lipsticks and other lip products, my list began to get way too long. Such is life of a beauty junkie.

As I compiled this favorite lispticks list, I begun to realize that these are not only my personal favorites, but they are cult favorite lipsticks among so many people!  So, I suppose the hype is real with these babies. So, let’s get this lipstick party started!

My Holy Grail Favorite Lipsticks

// This is my signature lipstick! I’m wearing it in my headshot over on my sidebar. It’s the perfect cool-toned bright pink. Forever and ever Candy Yum Yum!!

// The perfect matte pink that is flattering and looks amazing on almost everyone.

// This is a stunning matte pinky-purple. Super cool-toned, extremely flattering, and super bright. I love it!

// This is more of a sheer formula, but can be built up to a very deep berry/oxblood color. It’s the perfect shade for fall and winter.

// This is one of the more expensive lipsticks on this list, and it’s more of a shine formula. But, it feels so luxurious on the lips, I love the packaging, and this color is just beautiful.

// I realize this is an insanely expensive lipstick, but if you are a makeup junkie, you will appreciate having this in your collection. It is the perfect “my lips but better” neutral shade. The formula is so beautiful, and the packaging is insanely gorgeous.

// The Maybelline matte lipsticks are seriously some of the best lipsticks I’ve ever tried. If you need a peachy nude, you will absolutely love this one.

// Milani lipsticks are also super gorgeous, and very affordable. Nude Creme is my favorite – it’s the perfect nude!

// This is another signature color of mine – it is the perfect shade for my lips. It’s a beautiful mauve (it’s actually a dupe for MAC Brave), it looks amazing in photos, and is so flattering.

// Rimmel lipsticks are insanely good! I love this shade because it’s the perfect vibrant yet deep berry shade and it looks beautiful on so many different shades of skin.

Wet ‘n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in Stoplight Red // This is the cheapest on the list, but the quality is right up there with all the others. This particular shade is a great dupe for MAC’s Ruby Woo. It’s a gorgeous cool-toned red that will make your teeth look whiter!
