Glow All Summer – Physicians Formula Butter Collection Palette

If you have been following along for any time, you know how much I am obsessed with the Physicians Formula Butter products. The Butter Bronzer, in particular, is my holy grail bronzer. I have gone through countless pans. I just can’t be without it. The Butter blushes and highlighters are also incredible and products that I am constantly using.

With that being said, can you imagine my excitement when I heard that Physicians Formula released a Butter Collection palette?! I repeat – a Physicians Formula Butter Collection Palette! It’s now available at PhysiciansFormula.com and at Walmart!

Excitement is an understatement if I’m being totally honest.

The all-new Butter Collection comes in two different varieties – the Butter Collection Light/Medium Palette and the Butter Collection Medium/Deep Palette. They come with a Bronzer, blush, two limited edition highlighters, and a brand new fragrance! If you’ve ever used a Butter product before, you know the amazing scent they have. It’s like a coconut-y vacation. I’ve always thought it would be nice to bottle this fragrance, and I think it’s really amazing that Physicians Formula saw how much everyone loved the scent and bottled it up for us.

Just as I suspected, I love the scent of the Butter Paradise eau de toilette. Perfect to throw in a travel bag to a tropical vacation!

In both palettes, you get the same fragrance and same two limited edition highlighters – Full Moon and Galactic. The difference between the palettes is the bronzer and blush shades. In the Light/Medium Palette, you get the bronzer in “Bronzer” and blush in “Natural Glow”. In the Medium/Deep Palette, you get the bronzer in “Deep Bronzer” and the blush in “Vintage Rouge” (my favorite drugstore blush shade of all time, I might add).

On the left are swatches of the Light/Medium Palette, and on the right are swatches of the Medium/Deep Palette. I have a light skin tone and feel like either palette could work for me (although I need to be very light-handed with the bronzer). I have to say my new favorite shade in there is the limited-edition highlighter in Galactic. It is blinding!!!!

How I Get My Summer Glow

I first start with the bronzer and a fluffy powder blush. I place the bronzer in a 3 motion, covering my temple, cheek, and chin. I take a more precise brush to chisel out my contour. I contour my cheek, jawline, and either side of my nose.

Next step is blush. I make sure to apply it just above my bronzer, along the apples of my cheeks while pulling it back just a little bit. I like to blend my blush into my bronzer for a seamless look.

Finally is the fun part – the highlighter. I take the new Galactic highlighter (boy is it beautiful!) and place it just above my blush on my cheekbone for that amazing cheek pop. I’ll then place a little on my cupid’s bow, on the tip of my nose, and in the inner portion of my eyelid (I use my finger for that).

I absolutely love the glowy look year round, but particularly in summertime. Can we talk about that highlight bilng?
