Here’s my favorite way to use the products in this palette!

1. Bronzer

I take the bronzer with an angled brush and apply it under my cheekbones, along the hairline, and along the jawline. I take a small fluffy eyeshadow brush and contour my nose. This shade of bronzer is the “deep” shade. I am a light skin tone, and thought it may be too deep for me, but it certainly isn’t! Make sure you stay light-handed with the product and blend.

2. Blush

This Butter Blush in Copper Cabana is stunning! Much like the deep bronzer, I wondered if it would work well on my light skin tone. You only need the tiniest bit for a great pigment payoff. The blush has a sheen to it which blends well into the skin and is very flattering. Take a small amount on a blush brush and sweep it towards your ear.

3. Highlighter

This highlighter packs a punch! The Butter highlighter in the shade Just Beachy has a light golden/champagne tone with very small flecks of glitter. I am not usually a fan of my highlighter to have flecks of glitter, but somehow this one just works. The glitter isn’t chunky nor does it seem to give fall out. It’s very intense, but you do not look like a glitter bomb. I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised by how much I like the highlighter! I take the highlighter on a small highlighting brush and place it just above my blush on the cheekbone. You can also use this on the tip of the nose, on the brow bone, above the brow, on the cupid’s bow, and a little on the chin. For this demo, I kept it mostly on the cheek bone.

4. Eyeshadow

These four limited-edition Butter Eyeshadows are absolutely beautiful! I love the shade selection (I’m always a fan of those warm tones!), and that Casey put in a pop of green. It automatically forces you to step out of your comfort zone a little bit and try a pop of color. Green is really easy to use as a lower lash line accent if you are unsure of where to start.

I first started with the shade No Filter and buffed it into the transition/crease area.

Next I used the shade Tropic Like It’s Hot and took it onto a smaller fluffy brush. I concentrated this shade on the outer half of my lid and crease, and buffed it into the crease slightly underneath that first eyeshadow.

For the fun pop of color, I used Palms Palms on a pencil brush along my lower lash line. It’s an easy way to give the look a little extra something special.

Lastly, to highlight, I took the shade Do Not Disturb and placed it along the brow bone and inner corner with a small pencil brush.

4. Lipstick

I’m in love with the new Murumuru Butter Lip Creams, and this limited edition shade Pop the Bubbly is gorgeous! It’s a neutral rosy-peach that has a slightly golden metallic sheen. I am not usually one to love metallic-ish lipsticks, but this is done in the right way and is super flattering. It has a glossy finish, is super comfortable to wear, and is very hydrating on the lips. I can see this working for a lot of people!

5. Fragrance

I love that they brought back the Butter Paradise fragrance for this set, because the scent of all of the Physicians Formula butter products is such a fave!

Final Thoughts on the Physicians Formula Butter Collection x Casey Holmes

Overall, I think they nailed this Butter Collection palette. The packaging is a little bulky, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I can’t imagine traveling with this, but I also don’t see how they would’ve managed to get the packaging smaller considering all of the products that come with it. If you’re really into slim packaging and want to travel with the products, I’d de-pot everything and put the products into a magnetic palette.

The quality of the products are the exact same as those that are sold individually, so there was no skimping on formula or pigmentation.

I really enjoy the shade selection of this palette! Casey did a fabulous job with the color story. It’s definitely a “neutral-with-a-twist” kind of collection. If you’re a neutrals-only girl wanting to get out of your comfort zone a little bit, this is a great product to do so. That green eyeshadow shade is gorgeous and is a really fun accent color. I can’t wait to wear it over my lid! I also think that this palette is versatile because you can use the bronzer, blush, and highlighter on the eyes, as well.

I see this palette working for a lot of different skin tones, but with proper application. If you are porcelain fair, you will have to be very light-handed with the bronzer and blush on the face. Medium-toned girls will be in heaven with these shades. I am light and I love it!

The price on this cannot be beat! If you are wanting to try any of the Butter products from Physicians Formula, this is the most cost-effective way to do so. The Butter Bronzer by itself is $14.99, and you’re getting 5 full-sized products and 4 eyeshadows (these are also the same size that come in their new Butter Eyeshadow palettes).

All of this is under $20! I have a feeling this will sell really quickly. If you’re on the fence, just go for it.
