The Second Time Around
The second time around, we are a little (okay, a lot) less surprised. A little more prepared. A little older. Maybe even a little more settled. However, it happened just as fast.
The second time around, I’m more exhausted than ever and getting bigger faster. Experiencing different things than the first time.
It’s getting harder to hide…
But the second time around, we’re feeling the same amount of joy and fear. Excitement, awe, wonder. We were welcomed into parenthood two years ago, but the journey is far from over. We have no idea what to expect the second time around, but we do know we are already filled with love. Much like the first.
