Rainboots or waterproof shoes are a must.
As is a total rainproof jacket.
A poncho can also be helpful because most rain jackets are NOT fully water proof.
A mini umbrella for even more protection was a good choice on my part!
More water proof items: a water resistant backpack.
Don't forget a plastic bag for all of the wet that is unavoidable.
Extra socks were also very helpful to have!
