It’s been an embarrassingly long time since I’ve put up a beauty-related video. I’ve got to say, summer was super hard to stay on top of time management skills. It has been incredibly hard to film sit-down videos with children at home, and I couldn’t seem to make time. Now that school is back in session, we’re back to our regularly scheduled beauty video content!
As my first video back into the swing of things, I decided to chat all about the makeup products I’ve been loving this entire summer (and some even before). Cover Girl TruBlend Matte Made Foundation // Amazing drugstore release this year. Amazing shade range and I love the formula.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation // This has the most beautiful finish ever! It’s buildable coverage and looks like skin. I love it.
Laura Geller Filter First Foundation // Another skin-like foundation finish that’s just beautiful.
It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte // If you like the original CC cream but don’t love how it may slip and slide around your face, you’ll love this.
BareMinerals Original Loose Powder Foundation // Oldie but a goodie!
Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder // This has usurped my Laura Mercier translucent setting powder as holy grail!
Kevyn Aucoin Neo Highlighter in “Sahara” // I have loved dusting this all over the face to give the skin a very natural glow, especially if my makeup looks too flat or chalky.
Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in “Molten Rose Gold” // Gorgeous drugstore highlighter – my favorite shade of this product.
Pixi Beauty Glow-y Gossamer Duo in “Delicate Dew” // This highlighter is stunning and blinding!
Pixi Beauty Liquid Fairy Lights (all shades are gorgeous!) // Seriously, it’s a Stila Magnificent Metals glitter dupe. Amazinggggg.
Urban Decay Born to Run Eyeshadow Palette // I absolutely love the color story of this palette. Lots of neutrals mixed in with wearable pops of color.
Karity Lip Lock Liquid Lipsticks // Gorgeous affordable liquid lipsticks that are comfortable and the shades are seriously on point.
