Hey Meg O! I just recently started following your blog and have already purchased some of your recommendations. I’m excited to see how they work out! I don’t have a product suggestion for you, but I do have a question. I’m curious how you organize and store all of your beauty tools and products. Do you have any suggestions for that? I’d love to read/view a post about that.
PS-I’m a teacher & mom in Texas, too!

Hi Emily!!! Thank you so much for following along! I don’t have any organization posts, but that is a good idea! I’m not sure if I would provide you with any permanent solutions, though, because I keep all of my makeup in a 9 drawer ikea cabinet (this one to be exact: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50192822/ and yes, I know I am ridiculous) in my closet and then bring stuff into two of my drawers in my bathroom – the stuff I am currently using. If that’s a little too much for you, I recommend those clear acrylic drawers (I think they’re called muji?). I store all of my makeup brushes in coffee mugs. But I will definitely do a makeup collection/organization post!

I love these posts of yours! Currently going to watch some tutorials because I still don’t really know how to use that sponge thing 😉

Yay! Thank you! The beauty blender is super easy. Just wet it under a sink, squeeze out all the excess, dab foundation in dots around your face, and then blend it out with the sponge! Ta da!

I still haven’t bought a beauty blender. I don’t know why I’m intimidated by such a tiny pink ball of foam, but I am. I am a firm believer that MAC makes the PERFECT lipstick. So many colors and all in their fantastic formula. My favorite shade is Modesty (a little less pink, more nude than Creme Cup). My SIL adores Blankety, which will be my next MAC purchase.

Get on it and buy yourself a beauty blender!! Promise you will love it!
