I’ve gotten a few requests to start doing specific beauty tutorials. I know that the internet, and particularly YouTube is full of them, but I know I like learning from specific people. I guess you all want to learn me! That totally flatters me, but I am definitely not the end all be all expert. I’m just a regular lady who loves makeup.
In my opinion, eyebrows are the cornerstone of any makeup look. They immediately make you look put together, more awake, and more youthful. I have to admit, I am not a fan of the overly sculpted brow, and I cannot stand sharpie brows. I love brows that look like they belong on your face and ones that look natural.
Within the last 6 months or so, I changed up the way I was filling in my brows, and it has made a huge difference. What inspired this change was this tutorial from Sharon the Makeup Artist. She has a way of explaining things that just make sense and this technique makes the brows look so good.
I decided to film my own in-depth tutorial. Mine is based on hers, but slightly different. I am going over which brow products I love to use, and how I fill in my brows on a day to day basis. Since I am going a little more in depth, this video will be a tad longer. The first part is about the products I use (and I talk about nine different products, haha!), but if you want to just see the tutorial, skip to 5:03 in the video.

Seriously– I don’t leave my house without filling in my brows. My face doesn’t look awake without it. I’ve been using a matte brown eyeshadow with a flat and an angled eye brush for a while and really like the results. I love the Benefit Instant Brow pencil though!

Great tutorial, Meg! I’ve recently started doing my brows and WOW, it makes a big difference!! I love my Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Brow Gel…game changers. I’m going to have to try your tips though! I’ve never tried a brow powder, but I’m intrigued.
I totally meant to comment on this before… Ok this video is the bomb.com. I was using my anastasia brow wiz to FILL my brows. Do you know how expensive that got?! HAHA I would say you saved me a ton of money but now I have to go buy some new products 😉 Thanks meg! Great video as always! XO

I’ve been using eye shadow for years. I have auburn hair and couldn’t find a good eyebrow shade, so I went to shadows. They work wonderfully!!
