September Beauty Favorites
It’s that time of month again! No… not that time.
Beauty favorites time!!!
I gave E.L.F. another try and bought a bunch of stuff when everything was half off a few months ago. I really like this gloss. It reminds me a lot of MAC Lipglass, but I got it for… I think $1.50? I am a huge sucker for anything bright pink, and this is no exception. The color is beautiful. It goes on easy. My only qualm with it is that it’s a little sticky. But most lip glosses are. This particular E.L.F. order I made was very hit or miss and this one was a hit!
BlogHer and Mary Kay sent me a plethora of wonderful products to try out and review, and I tell you, this is probably my favorite of the bunch. Surprisingly, I have never used a lash primer before because I thought it would just add an extra step to my routine without much payoff, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this product. My lashes stayed curled and put for twelve hours!! I was amazed! My lashes also feel a bit more healthier after using this.
Wet ‘n Wild seriously has some of the most pigmented eyeshadows! Read my other review here on the Comfort Zone palette. I bought this because I wanted to create more plum and purple looks for fall. You seriously can’t go wrong with this, because it’s only $5! The shadows are creamy, pigmented, and last all day. Love, love, looooooooooove.
I gotta be honest here. I don’t own any drugstore blushes. I was looking for a plum blush, because burgundy and plum is totally in this fall. I picked this up because of how it is formulated to match my skin tone. I like how you get a ton of product for the price. It’s sleek packaging and sturdy. The blush goes on beautifully but the staying power isn’t amazing. But to be fair, a lot of blushes fade on me really easily. This is on my favorites list because I really love how it goes on and the color is perfect!
I am a sucker for a matte bronzer. You have probably heard me time and time again about how I prefer a matte bronzer over a shimmer simply because I feel it warms up the face far better. I find this bronzer to be really similar to Benefit’s Hoola, but for $2.99! I have loved using it and the price tag makes it a winner in my book! It is also a favorite among beauty gurus. There you have it! My September favorites! Now that I’m looking at it – it’s mostly drugstore and budget-friendly items! So, that makes it doubly as awesome in my opinion. I guess I haven’t been stepping into the high end beauty stores lately, which is fine by me. If something is drugstore/budget and works just as well, I will use it!What have you been using lately that you love?
Leave me a comment so I can add it to my “to try” list!
