It is no secret by now that I have a drugstore makeup addiction (hello, best concealers at an affordable price), but you know what that means? I’ve tried it all and can easily give you the most detailed list of the best drugstore makeup of 2024. I am talking about the best of the best in drugstore beauty.
From bronzing drops to natural flow highlighter, this list covers it. Every item on this list is a personal favorite that I have been tossing away empties of for the last year or more.
Keep reading for a list of the best makeup from the drugstore in 2024!
Best Affordable Makeup of 2024
This list contains quite a few products from e.l.f. with some others mixed in. I will shout it from the rooftops that e.l.f. offers some of the best makeup for an affordable price from the drugstore. They made my list of the best drugstore makeup of 2023 as well!
Physicians Formula Butter Glow Bronzing Serum
This is the year of the lightly bronzed, natural makeup look and this bronzing serum from Physicians Formula takes the cake. I love that the consistency is super easy to mix into something or wear on its own.
e.l.f. Bronzing Drops
e.l.f. does not quit! It’s no secret that I am a huge fan (so much so that I’ve tried and ranked all of the e.l.f. concealers), but the newer bronzing drop from the infamous drugstore brand is a newfound love of mine. This one dries down a little faster than the Physicians Formula, but I really love the undertone of the Rose Gold one!
e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Foundation
Glow is in and this satin-finish foundation from e.l.f. deserves an award. Not only is it super comfortable, but it has quickly become my favorite inexpensive foundation over the past year because of the glowy full-face look it offers. The best part is that it lasts all day long! On IG, I compared it to the Haus Labs Foundation… the side by side test was a bit shocking!
e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush
I have been adding more and more cream and liquid blushes into my collection. This liquid blush was an impressive launch from elf! User beware: it is very pigmented and it’s very easy to apply way too much. My best tip is to apply some to the back of your hand, work it in with a brush, and stipple into the cheeks.
Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Bronzer
Again with the creams. I love this cream bronzer from Milani because it doesn’t cake into fine lines, and they offer a few different shades that work well with different foundation shades and skin undertones.
Essence Blend & Line Eyeshadow Stick
Everyone loves a one-and-done makeup product right? An easy way to give yourself an eye look is to toss out the entire eyeshadow palette and use this eyeshadow stick instead. It has a nice shade range and will easily be the first thing people notice when they see you. I love to use this thing in so many different ways – sometimes as a smudged out eyeliner, or an all over the lid situation.
e.l.f. Lash Xtndr Mascara
Your lash line has never looked as good as it will with this mascara from e.l.f. The mascara stands the test of time (very long-wearing) and looks amazing whether you’re just wearing a light skin tone or one of the best drugstore matte foundations paired with a full face. I personally think professional makeup artists would love having this in their kit, especially for the lower lash line. For those that don’t love a waterproof mascara, a tubing formula is very long wearing.
e.l.f. Brow Laminating Gel
Brow lamination is in but don’t over do it! Easily get that laminated look with this cheap brow laminating gel from e.l.f. If you’d rather have a more full look, fill in with the brow pencil pen from Maybelline below and then finish off the look with the laminating gel for an on-trend look.
Maybelline Build-a-Brow Pen
This brow product is a favorite for a reason. I have yet to discover a brow pen in the drugstore that delivers, and this one is on par with my high end brow pens! Not only does it glide right on with its lightweight consistency, but it naturally fills the brows out for an eyebrow look with a more natural finish. Love! I don’t use the gel side very often but it’s there if you need it, lol.
Revolution Beauty Beam Bright Highlighter
Traditional highlighters might be out but this lightweight formula of a highlighter begs to differ. Whether you are going for a natural look with some cc cream or a full coverage beat with a high-coverage foundation, this highlight will help you stand out in a gorgeous way! I find the glow very similar to the Rare Beauty highlighter!
Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lifter Plump
I have quite a few favorite products from Maybelline, but this lip gloss is a newer love. She looks beautiful on her own or paired with a nice lipstick underneath. It has a pretty spicy sting, but gives an amazing plumping effect!
e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil
One last shout out to e.l.f. has to be their reviver lip oil. This is a must for your handbag and car! Get that natural lip glow wherever you are easily with this comfortable wear lip oil. It’s sooo glossy and nourishing!
NYX Marshmellow Setting Spray
Last up on this list is my favorite setting spray of the year. She offers a nice (but light) marshmallow scent and is easy on the skin. Your makeup will last all day long with this setting spray, especially when paired with a good setting powder!
