I’m choosing to look in the mirror and love myself during quarantine. I’ll be honest, it’s a journey I’m constantly on.

We are living in an unprecedented time, and the last thing I need to do is worry about whether or not I still fit in my jeans.
⠀
So many people are sick, some have lost their jobs, and some have even lost loved ones. Things are not normal right now.
⠀
Every day feels weird. Because life is so different now, it is absolutely essential to do things that make me feel good and more “normal.” For me, that’s makeup and hair. It’s my nightly walks with the family.
⠀
Right now is a perfect time to get outside (away from others, of course). It’s the perfect time to try an at-home workout you’ve been wanting to try. It’s the perfect time to move for mental clarity. It’s the perfect time to binge watch allllll the TV. It’s the perfect time to do physical activities with your family. It’s the perfect time to try a comforting recipe. It’s the perfect time to eat vegetables. It’s the perfect time to go through a gallon of blue bell ice cream a week.

WHATEVER IT TAKES to preserve your mental health and helps you get through each day. There’s no right or wrong answer here.

Give yourself lots of GRACE. You are still you before and after quarantine. No numbers can ever measure that.

✨7 MONTHS✨ of loving this little man. Logan just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter by the day. He’s sitting up and playing independently, and is just happy to be along for the ride anywhere we go. He’s got two teeth (as evidenced by this photo 🤓) with a third on the way. Quarantine isn’t really his style, but lots of walks and time outside has kept him happy. He is our little ray of sunshine in this time of uncertainty. We love you so much, Logan!
