Today’s gift guide is a fun one! I’ve been a girl mom for almost 9 years (so sad to think I’ll have a 9 year old in just a few weeks), so there’s a lot of little girl gift giving going on in this house. This gift guide was a lot of fun to put together and includes things that we either already have or plan on gifting!
Like I did with my toddler gift guide, I’m trying to keep the junky toys to a minimum, and share lots of fun things at all price points (most of the items on here are very affordable).
Gift Guide for Girls Ages 5-10

14ft Trampoline
When Greg and I were talking about whether we should give a big item or a bunch of small ones, we ultimately decided on gifting the girls with a 14-ft trampoline. They were sold out everywhere at the beginning of quarantine, but now there are a ton available and for great prices. We have one sitting in our garage waiting to be assembled on Christmas Eve. We wanted to give them something they could enjoy all year, especially because they play outside so much!
Portable Karaoke Microphone
I mentioned this item in my Cool Tech Gifts gift guide, and I think it’s an awesome gift for girls! If you have a little performer on your hands, give them a microphone. You may regret every second of it, but they are living their truth. Haha.
Instax Mini Camera
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this on almost alllll of the gift guides for girls and teens, but it is a fun idea! If your little one enjoys taking pictures, scrapbooking, capturing memories, etc., she will love it. This link is the lowest price I’ve seen, plus it comes with accessories and film!
Echo Dot
We’ve had an Echo Dot in the girls’ bedroom for a few years now and they love it. They play music and lullabies on it, and they communicate with us on the other Alexas in the house. Highly recommend!
Jewelry Box
Every girl needs a jewelry box, and I love how sweet this one is. This one is metallic with a feminine quilted finish.
Walkie Talkies
Walkie talkies are so fun to have, especially while playing outside with friends. Great idea for siblings!
Pom Pom Pens
Our girls love fun and fancy pens, and these are so cute. Great to gift with a journal or as a stocking stuffer!
Journal
This is for girls probably 8 and up, but I had to mention it. This particular journal intrigued me a lot. It is a guided journal for girls, and really gets them to express their thoughts and creativity. Kennedy really enjoys writing and I think she’d really love something like this.
Starry Night Light Projector
This is the coolest night light ever! I think we need it for sure.
Beaded Mask Lanyards
If your kiddos are back in school in person (or are planning to), having a mask lanyard is a life saver. These are really cute and come in a pack of five. Great stocking stuffer idea!
Caboodle
Caboodles are back and super fun! I gave one of them to Caroline for her birthday and filled it up with a bunch of fun makeup… best idea!
Pajamas
Everyone needs a pair of pajamas on Christmas morning! These come in a few varieties.
Personalized Christmas Plate
I love this idea as a gift to give and something they use every holiday season, and then they can take it when they’re all grown up.
Bath Robe
My girls love bath robes! This one is really cute and comes in a ton of different colors.
Sequin Slippers
We are big fans of fun slippers over here. Even better, they have flippy sequins!
Twisty Petz
We’ve loved Twisty Petz for a long time, and the girls have quite the collection. They’re fun to collect and put in jewelry boxes. They twist into little animals and also can be worn as bracelets.
Bath Bombs
Bath bombs are always so much fun! This is a set for kids. I love the Sky Organics brand because they make high quality items with great ingredients.
Personalized Name Bracelet
These are so darling! Personalize them with the child’s name and this is such a fun gift, or even a stocking stuffer idea.
Makeup Set
This brand of makeup has come highly recommended and I have strangely not tried it. Haha! I need to test it out, but I thought this was such a cute set. Other affordable yet high quality brands I would check out are Colourpop and Morphe.
Lip Balm Set
Can we talk about a throwback?! I want this set for myself, honestly. Haha! All of the lip balms are candy flavored!
Set of 60 Scrunchies
60 scrunchies will be so fun to open on Christmas morning, haha! I guess it’ll also take a really long time to lose them all.
Fuzzy Socks
Fuzzy socks are always a great idea. You could also split these up and put them in stockings.
Water Bottle
My girls have this brand of water bottle that they take to school, and we love it! The reason why I recommend this style over the others is the screw top sip lid makes it really spill-proof, especially when carrying in backpacks. My girls take these to school every day and have had zero spill issues.
Just Dance 2021
We have Just Dance 2020, and can’t wait to get this year’s game! It is such a fun game for kids, gatherings, and family game night.
Bluetooth Headphones
If you’re looking for a new pair of kid headphones, these look pretty awesome! They’re bluetooth and even light up. Lots of great reviews.
Mini Sequin Backpack
These kinds of backpacks are a hit with my girls. They’r fun to carry around as a purse.
