Thank you to Evereve for providing outfits and encouraging me to dress up and feel fabulous this holiday season. Every piece I own from Evereve is something I love having in my closet.

We live in an age where it appears that our lives are on display for our social media feeds to see. It’s a blessing to be able to connect with friends and relatives far away, but sometimes it can be overwhelming. I know sometimes it’s hard to feel like we’re not doing enough or have enough. We see beautiful photos and forget that social media is everyone’s highlight reel.

Houston lifestyle blogger Meg O. on the Go shares the importance of doing the holidays your way, and sharing two holiday looks from Evereve

You may be surprised to hear that it’s overwhelming to me at times, too. My job as a digital creator is to always be “on” and have a beautiful presence. My Instagram feed is full of meticulously photographed and edited photos. I spend hours on every single blog post I’ve written or video I’ve edited. Even the photos in this post were taken by a talented professional photographer. It’s a lot to keep up and I often feel like I’m not “enough” in this space.

When I look back on this year, my mind immediately goes to what I did not accomplish versus what I did. Why do we do this to ourselves? Why can’t we be content? Is it a mom thing? Is it a woman thing? Is it a goal-oriented person thing? I don’t know, and it needs to stop.

The truth is, I have so much to be proud of this year, and I always fail to realize that I am only one person. How in the world can we literally do it all when there is only one of us? It’s impossible. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to do what we can and to be proud of it.

Remember, we all have our own unique gifts and talents. It’s okay to also celebrate that as unique and wonderful women. I would never describe myself as “crafty”, but I can rock a face of full glam in sweatpants. I bow down to the crafty Pinterest people of the world.

This is particularly important for us all to remember during the holiday season. You are enough. Your talents and gifts are enough. Celebrate that.

Houston lifestyle blogger Meg O. on the Go shares two holiday outfits from Evereve

Celebrate the holidays your way, not the way Instagram tells you to. Want to deck the halls ’til you’re blue in the face? Knock your socks off. Keep the decor simple? Less to take down in January! Have an elf? Have fun with that. Cook an elaborate meal? Treat yourself. Order takeout? You go, girl.

Dress up to the nines? Work it. Rock leggings? I support you. It’s time you holiday your way.

I know looking your best can also be a stressful element when it comes to gatherings, functions, parties, and events during the holiday season.

I have never been super adventurous with my outfit choices until recently. I’ve really begun to love getting dressed. You know, on the actual days that I do. Let’s not forget that I spend 5 days out of the week in loungewear.

For all of those “get dressed” days, Evereve is one of my go-to retailers. I love that each store is catered to moms. They specialize in personalized styling sessions (for free!), and they are super gifted at finding amazing pieces and styling them in ways I would’ve never thought to do myself.

There is something for everyone at Evereve – whether you’re a leggings-as-pants or glam type of girl. You’ll definitely be ready to holiday your way.

I’ve got two Evereve looks to share with you today that are perfect for any holiday gathering.

I love these two looks for the season, and I am all about versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down. Either of these looks can be dressed down and I can also mix and match these pieces with other items in my closet. I can get quite a few looks, and I’m basically covered for all of my events and gatherings for the rest of the year (and beyond).

This first outfit is for those that love to stay comfy and want to trick everyone you’re way more glam than you actually are. These ponte pants feel like you’re wearing leggings (they’re so comfortable!), the velvet cami is effortless, and the super soft city coat is so fabulous yet so comfy!

My favorite part of this outfit is the super soft city coat. It is so fuzzy and soft, and also a statement! I wore it to an event on Wednesday (with the faux leather skirt and another cami, no less!) and got lots of compliments.

The second outfit is more of a statement, but it’s still an easy look. We’re mixing faux leather with a gorgeous chenille sweater. Throw some over the knee boots on and you are edgy and fashionable. Bam.

I cannot believe how versatile this vegan faux leather skirt is! Now that it’s in my closet, I keep dreaming of different ways to wear it. I also can’t wait to wear this chenille sweater with some denim.

Cheers to a holiday wardrobe that’s easy, just like I like my holiday season.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and truly enjoy celebrating it without guilt and the need for perfection. Remember, you are enough and the way you celebrate is the best way ever.

I’ve been using @bondiboost supplements and products to regrow, nourish, and prevent further loss. One product I’ve been taking is the Anti Hair-Loss Supplement, which is perfect for anyone suffering from thinning hair and noticeable hair fall. It’s formulated with Biota Orientalis, which is an herb traditionally used in Chinese medicine to reduce hair loss and thinning. Plus, they’re vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, FDA approved, and made in Australia. In the month I’ve been taking this supplement, I’ve noticed less hair shedding in the shower and when brushing my hair. I can’t wait to see what continued use will do for my hair! Who has done an excessive amount of hand washing a Who has done an excessive amount of hand washing and hand sanitizing this past year? 🙋🏼‍♀️ That would be all of us. 😅 #DovePartner I know your hands are probably dry and angry and the rest of your body could use some moisture during the winter months. @krogerco has an amazing selection of personal care and beauty products that can help you be your best self this year. I’ve been loving the new @dove Nourishing Hand Sanitizer - it kills germs and actually feels moisturizing! And, of course, the Deep Moisture Body Wash is an old favorite of mine - great for the winter months or just for all the extra washing we’re having to do right now. Save time by adding Beauty and Personal Care products to your Kroger shopping cart, and your dry skin will thank you later. #UnileverPartner #UnileveratKroger #KrogerBestofBeauty
How we feel during yet another unprecedented event How we feel during yet another unprecedented event🤪 This Texas winter storm was wild, and completely heartbreaking to witness. It’s been a very hard week, and we are some of the lucky ones! Going without power for 3 days was not fun, but we’re very thankful we do not have any damage or burst pipes.

So many people have quickly responded and been so generous. Neighbors helping each other, kindness from grocery stores and restaurants, and help from people out of state has really made me proud. We will get through this 💪🏻

I’m sharing a bunch of resources in my stories, and I’m saving it all to a “HELP TEXAS” highlight. Feel free to share it or reference it!

Why does nothing surprise me anymore? 😂 We clearly don’t know how to deal and a lot of people were without power today (us included). Had to post this pic of the kids before Logan decided he was over it. His first snow, and he was not a fan. 😂 Hope all of my Texas friends are staying warm!

I’ve said this many times before, but postpartum I’ve said this many times before, but postpartum hair loss stinks! Even though I’m 1.5 years out from having a baby, I am still experiencing after effects. My hairline is still thin, and I’ve got a lot of baby hairs I’d like to grow faster. To help speed things along, I’m starting a “hair glow up” challenge with @bondiboost products. First product I want to mention is the Hair Growth Support Supplement. This product and their anti hair-loss support supplement are scientifically formulated to promote hair growth and reduce hair loss and thinning. Plus, they’re vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, FDA approved, and made in Australia. The Hair Growth Support Supplement contains awesome ingredients like zinc, silicon, biotin, and ascorbic acid to support the maintenance of healthy hair. Can’t wait to see what it’ll do for my baby hairs! [sponsored] #BondiBoost #BoostYourRoots
If you bleach or color your hair, what are some of If you bleach or color your hair, what are some of the ways you like to keep your hair healthy? Here are some of the things I do:

▪️ Stretch my color sessions every 3-4 months. I know bleach and color services can weaken hair, so I like a lived-in rooted blonde that looks awesome as it grows out.
▪️ Air dry my hair after washing and use hot tools sparingly.
▪️ Use color-safe products at home.
▪️ Most recently, I've started incorporating the new @redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate line.

This new launch from Redken is exciting, as I am a big fan of the brand (I go to a Redken salon and find that their color is the best of all I've tried). The Acidic Bonding Concentrate range is specifically formulated with an acidic pH to defend against the negative effect of hair coloring, styling tools, and even water - to bring hair back into a healthy pH range. In trials, these products were shown to provide a 56% reduction of breakage, 11X smoother hair, 88% reduction of visual split ends, color fade protection, and ultimate conditioning. Say what? Sign me up!

After the short amount of time I've used these products, I've felt that my hair feels stronger, smoother, and less brittle at the ends. I can't wait to see what prolonged use will do! #redkenpartner #redkenready #acidicbondingconcentrate
