It’s been a minute since we’ve done a favorites video, so we are so overdue! I’ve tried a lot of new goodies these last couple months and have found so many great gems! I’ve been trying tons of foundations, so we’ve got 5 to talk about today. I realize that’s a lot, but they are all so different, haha.
Let’s get straight to the video. I’ve linked every high end product I could at Sephora so if you were shopping the Spring Bonus Sale (ends tomorrow!) you can pick it up at a discount. Make sure to check out my Sephora Spring Bonus Sale blog post for more recommendations if you need it!
March & April Beauty Favorites
Shop My March & April Beauty Favorites:
Wet ’n Wild Photo Focus Stick Foundation // My number one foundation pick as of recently! You can see this baby in action on my Drugstore Makeup Dupes Tested blog post where I compare this to the Hourglass stick foundation. It’s so good!
L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation // I absolutely love the lightweight feel to this foundation, but it has great medium buildable coverage. It stays looking fresh and natural and holds up super well. I love this stuff!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint // If you like a really light coverage foundation, you have got to try this one!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Foundation Stick // This is really similar to the tint, but with a little more coverage. If you have dry skin, you’ll love this!
It Cosmetics Confidence in a Foundation // This has a lot of mixed reviews – lots of people didn’t love this one! Here’s what I appreciate about it – there are 48 shades to this foundation, so if it’s always hard for you to find a color match, there is likely something for you here. I also really ended up loving the way it applied and wore all day. Color matching was hard, though. I usually wear “Light” in all of the It Cosmetics products, but ended up needing to use shade Medium (N) in this foundation… about the 10th lightest shade. Despite the snafu, again, I still liked the foundation.
e.l.f. Cosmetics 16HR Camo Concealer // If you like Tarte Shape Tape and need something comparable, this is the ticket! Not that great of a shade range, but it is really full coverage and sets down almost identical. I may even like this one more. It doesn’t seem to get as dry as Shape Tape.
Jouer Cosmetics Soft Focus Hydrate + Set Powder // This is a gorgeous setting powder that was just released from Jouer Cosmetics (they recently launched at Sephora, yay!). It sets the makeup without it ever looking chalky or flat. It’s simply gorgeous on the skin. Perfect for any skin types!
Smashbox Cosmetics Cali Contour Palette // This contour palette has replaced everything else I own. I am shocked more people don’t talk about this one! It’s got two bronzer/contour shades, a matte banana powder, a bronzy highlight, a pearl shimmery highlight, and a neutral blush.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk // How did I go so long without trying this gorgeous lipstick? It’s so beautiful!!
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow // I didn’t understand the hype surrounding this gloss. But then I got it and now I understand. It’s seriously beautiful, universally flattering, has the right amount of sticky-ness, and plays well on top of all of my neutral lip colors and by itself.
Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette // If you’re a fan of the original Naked palettes, you’re going to love this one. It’s the perfect homage to both the Naked 1 and Naked 2 palettes, but with a little twist. I’ve been really happy with the shade range, pigmentation, and performance of these shadows.
Benefit Cheerleaders Mini Cheek Palette in Bronze // This is so hard to find ever since Jaclyn Hill talked about it a few months ago. But if you can get your hands on it, you need it!
Cover Girl Exhibitionist Mascara // Forget Lash Paradise, this one has replaced it! If you need a great Too Faced Better Than Sex dupe and you’re tired of Lash Paradise flaking on you, pick this one up. It’s been amazing!
What have you been loving lately? You know mama needs to know!
