I was recently sent some items from the Olay Regenerist Line. I was very excited to try them because I have been looking for some great items to add into my morning skincare routine. Olay is a brand I do not own too many items from, because it seems like there are so many different items to choose from and they seem to be on the pricier side for drugstore skincare products. Once I received the products, I planned to use both the Wrinkle Revolution Complex and eye cream as primers in the morning. So here’s my Olay Regenerist Review!

A LITTLE ABOUT THE PRODUCTS I RECEIVED:

Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Revolution Complex: This product is a moisturizer that utilizes optics-based skincare to smooth skin and relax the appearance of wrinkles in an instant. It’s filled with various skin conditioning properties and peptides and ingredients I feel good about putting on my skin. I have really loved using this as a primer under my makeup in the morning. I find that it’s pretty drying and not enough moisture and repair for the evening, but it does an amazing job of smoothing out pores and lines and makes a great canvas for makeup. Probably one of my favorite primers I’ve tried, although this is not marketed as a primer!

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream and Lash Serum: This duo includes a hydrating eye cream and lash serum that claims to smooth eyelids and nourish lashes. I do enjoy using the lash serum in the evening to nourish my lashes. It doesn’t claim to grow lashes like some prescription products, but I do feel like they are smoother and conditioned. I would describe this product as a deep conditioner for your eye hair. Haha. As far as the eye cream goes, I didn’t notice any wrinkle/dark circle benefits, and I would like a more hydrating/repairing cream for evenings. However, I do really love this as an eye primer. I use it all over the lid and under the eyes and it really makes my eye makeup look smooth.

OVERALL THOUGHTS ON THE PRODUCTS:

I have really really enjoyed these products, and incorporating them into my morning skincare routine. I find that the Wrinkle Revolution Complex, when used as a makeup primer, is one of the best primers I’ve tried. It doesn’t make me oily, and looks great under makeup. I also really enjoy the eye cream and lash serum. I don’t like them near as much as the Wrinkle Revolution Complex, but they are certainly great products. I actually like using the lash serum at night and the other two products in the morning. I highly recommend the products from this line! I do think Olay needs to remarket these as primers!
