With Father’s Day just one week away, I know many of us are scrambling to find something for our favorite dads. Let’s face it, men are hard to shop for. My husband, Greg, is usually pretty vague about what he wants or tells me he doesn’t want anything. He is such an amazing father and completely deserves all the gifts in the world and more. Have you started your Father’s Day gift shopping yet?
This year I did my shopping (and gifting) a little earlier via The Grommet. The Grommet is a one-stop shop where you can find unique and innovative products made by local makers. The Grommet team is constantly searching for unique finds to add to the site (and helping local businesses succeed in the process). I absolutely love the premise of The Grommet, as I can support a local/small business and also find hand-selected unique gifts. To learn more about the Grommet, click here.
Here’s what Greg got for Father’s Day this year. I will say, I am feeling pretty on top of my game, gifting a whole week early!
3D Stadium Wall Art
If you didn’t know, Greg is Massachusetts-born. From time to time, he’ll get homesick, so I like to buy him things that remind him of Boston. Fenway Park is not only an iconic ballpark, but it also means a lot to Greg. This 3D Stadium Wall Art is precision-cut with pieces of wood layered to create an aerial three-dimensional effect. This piece definitely has a wow factor!
Meat Handler and Shredder
Like many dads, Greg is the grill and smoke master in our house. We have a charcoal grill and an electric smoker, and he really has done a great job perfecting his recipes! For grill days, these Bear Paw Meat Handler and Shredder claws are a fun tool to have on hand (no pun intended). They’ll make your man look and feel like a superhero (Wolverine, anyone?), but they’re also super useful for handling and shredding meat.
Wood Fired Pizza Oven
Food and sports seem to be the theme here, and we’re totally okay with that. Greg’s favorite food on earth is pizza. If he could, he would eat it every single day for the rest of his life. I can’t say I blame him. That doesn’t sound half bad. We have lofty goals of building an amazing outdoor kitchen and wood burning pizza oven, but we certainly do not have the funds to do that at the moment.
Not to fear, you can get your own wood-fired pizza oven in your backyard for the fraction of what a remodel would cost. The Uuni Wood Fired Pizza Oven is small enough for your backyard but packs a serious punch. It heats up in a flash and makes a perfect pizza in less than three minutes!
