I can’t believe it’s already been a few weeks since our second Perform on Pinterest Houston Workshop! Channing and I worked so hard on putting together yet again another perfect afternoon, especially since last year’s workshop was such a huge success!
We had such a great group of sponsors to work with this year, the first being Carnegie Homes. We got to host our Perform on Pinterest workshop in an amazing four-story custom home in the heart of River Oaks. The home was professionally styled and staged by High Fashion Home, and it was the perfect venue for our intimate workshop.
Let’s get to some more of the details!
Lauren from Toast from the Host came out to help us style the event, and her event styling expertise is no joke! She (and Stacy!) executed it flawlessly. We were blown away with how beautiful the space looked.
The Kroger floral centerpieces and Minted decor and journals greeted each attendee as they sat down to learn.
Our Perform on Pinterest workshop took place on the top level. We were a bit cramped but we were so thankful to fill the room and get everyone learning!
Can’t forget the snacks! We picked those up at Kroger, as well.
Lauren and Stacy put together this awesome photo backdrop for us! We found the backdrop at Minted and they made it look so pretty with gold balloons.
Our guests were greeted on the main living level with this sponsors sign, and were able to grab their awesome swag bags.

In addition to the beautiful decor brought in by High Fashion Home, Lauren from Toast from the Host helped us put together a beautiful candy buffet. We snagged the supplies from Oriental Trading, and it certainly pulled together flawlessly.
Is this home beautiful or what?
Now, begins the learning! We packed in an amazing information in four hours. This is a hands-on workshop, where we ask our attendees to bring their laptops and work on what we are teaching. We were so happy with the learning portion of the Perform on Pinterest workshop.
We also made sure to allot time to go around and help our attendees one on one if they had any questions.
During breaks and after the workshop, Styled by Kelsey V. worked her magic on us! She gave us beautiful braids and luscious lashes.
When the learning portion of the Perform on Pinterest workshop was over, the fun did not stop! The Fuddruckers food truck showed up at our doorstep ready to feed us all the burgers our hearts desired! We also had a bartender on deck serving up cocktails. What’s a Pinterest workshop with us unless it includes a party?!
Trifles Houston brought in the most amazing mini desserts, and you bet we ate one of each!
Safe to say, I think we put on one heck of a party. Pinterest + swag + food + drinks + desserts = one awesome event!

Side note: aren’t these shirts from Southern SALT Boutique the cutest?! She gifted each of our attendees one!
Thank you to everyone who trusted us to impart our Pinterest knowledge on you! This Perform on Pinterest workshop would be nothing without the supportive Houston blogging/creative community. Back to the drawing board to see how we can top it next time!
