Our Fall 2019 Family Photos
One of my favorite yearly traditions is taking our annual fall family photos. I love to see how our family has grown and use the photos around our home and in our Christmas cards. If we do no other photo shoots in a year (which is unlikely due to the nature of my job, haha), we always do our fall family photos.
This is our fifth year shooting with Snapshots by Ailee Petrovic. We absolutely love her family photo style and are always happy with the way they turn out. This year was no exception!
This year is quite a different photo from last! I wasn’t even pregnant with Logan yet when we shot last year’s photos, and I had no idea how this year would look so different. Anyway, I love how these turned out. We shot these around Rice University, which has a lovely mixture of beautiful oak trees and neutral architecture. It was a gorgeous day and there were zero meltdowns! Win! Before we get to this year’s photos, let’s take a look at the past…

I knew immediately where these were taken! My son is going to Rice next year and we took a picture under that arch when we visited. Beautiful family and such a blessed year!
